Some of my
early painting interests involved social issues, including the subject of aging. I find the faces of the elderly to
be extremely interesting. I have always felt that "faces" are a roadmap which often describes the life that an individual
has led. I find myself studying people attempting to visualize the path they might have traveled in their earlier years.
This series of paintings (not yet complete) attempts to create an
awareness and emotional reaction on the part of the viewer.
